Amal is a civil society activist with more than 8 years of local, national and international experience in project management and advocacy. She has worked with the World Scout Committee, the world's largest educational youth movement, and Global Shapers Tunis Hub, an initiative of the World Economic Forum. In addition, Amal leads several women’s empowerment and informal education initiatives with her local scout group. After her undergraduate studies, she started her internship at UNDP and afterwards she began to work as a Junior Coordination Consultant in UN Resident Coordinator’s Office in Iran.
